Gout may occur because a reptile is fed an improper amount of calcium, in order to reverse the effects, you should ensure that your reptile is fed more calcium, and that they consume more going forward. Gout is nasty and is potentially fatal to reptiles, it's definitely something to be on the lookout for. You can also take your reptile to the vet if it's bad enough and they'll help you.
