Yes, pet mice can carry hantavirus, a potentially fatal virus if you get it. It's very rare, but it is theoretically possible for your pet mice to transfer it to you. Ideally, if you bought your mice from the pet store there probably won't be any problems, but if you got your mice from the outdoors, then I'd be a little bit cautious. 

Either way if you believe that you have the hantavirus, then make sure you seek medical attention ASAP.
