Yes, tokay geckos shed their skin as time goes on. They do this to regenerate fresh skin and to stay healthy. A tokay gecko will appear lighter in color than usual when they are shedding. Once they shed their color will be more vibrant. Tokay geckos will eat their own shed like most geckos after they shed, you might still see some of it around the enclosure but for the most part they'll eat all of it. You might have to clean a little bit of it up but not much.
