Tokay geckos might not be good pets because of their natural aggression and very strong bite. Their bites can deliver some pain and even break skin and make you bleed. They aren't the nicest pet gecko you can get and if you're looking for a docile, friendly gecko the tokay gecko isn't it. That's why they get a bad reputation.
