You don't want your dog to eat a banded bullfrog I will add. It can kill a medium to large sized dog if it is eaten. Just something to be aware of! 😄

The banded bullfrog is not poisonous and they are generally a docile species. They are easy to care for and can be great companions on your amphibian and/or reptile keeping journey.

There's a lot of great general information about banded bullfrogs on their Wikipedia page, I went there and read up on it.

Banded bullfrogs do make pretty good pets from what I've read so far. I will definitely keep my banded bullfrog away from dogs/cats so that they don't get poisoned and also so that my banded bullfrog doesn't end up dead.

That's good that you have done your research about them. You are already a better banded bullfrog owner. 😄
