A Leopard gecko's favorite food is most likely any insect that is moving and is alive, they love to eat crickets, dubia roaches, mealworms and waxworms. It's part of their natural drive to hunt and eat these insects. Before you feed your leopard gecko any of these insects you should be sure to dust them with calcium so that they are getting the calcium they need. (source)
