Yes, it is possible that your crested gecko is dying from cold, if the temperature drops below 60 degrees for too long then it is possible that your crested gecko can pass away. It is unfortunate, but it's something to watch out for, you should ensure that the temperature inside of the enclosure that you have is comfortable for your crested gecko. It should be around 72 - 75 degrees.
