Yes, Reptisoil for a crested gecko that's put inside of a lay box is a good option for substrate, it holds humidity well and it adds to any reptile enclosure's aesthetic look, it has a dark coloration and is pretty cheap to purchase. You can add in some moss to make it look even cooler. (Source)
