Snakes always hate any strong odor that is near them, they will almost always slither away from any stench like that. Such stenches like onions, garlic, wormwood and lemongrass will all cause snakes discomfort and will cause them to try and escape the stench. Best to keep these smelly sources away from any pet snakes you have.
