Yes, bridges do have both positive and negative effects on wildlife, they are great for helping the animals cross from one area to another, in a better more efficient way. It's sort of a double edged sword though because sometimes the wildlife in the area might end up getting ran over by the traffic on the bridge, so it depends. (Source)
