Yes, sugar gliders are legal to own in Vermont, there isn't any state law that specifically bans you from owning a sugar glider. You should ensure that that's the case with your local community as well too, local laws that dictate whether or not you can own a sugar glider as much as state, so it's good to check if that's the case.
