Yes, sugar gliders do bite, they will do so if they are stressed out, threatened, scared, smell something they don't like or are poorly socialized. Their bites aren't too bad, but they can sort of hurt if you aren't expecting it. They've got some sharp teeth, something to be aware of at least. Biting is their last line of defense, pretty rare but they will do it if they are feeling threatened.
