A northern blue tongue skink should live in 40 - 60% humidity at least, it should dip down as the day goes on, so that they don't end up developing a respiratory disease/illness. The exact amount of effort it takes for for you to make it that humid inside of your skink's enclosure depends on the environment and how humid/dry it is.
