Are crested geckos extinct in the wild? Will they go extinct?

No, crested geckos aren't extinct in the wild, they are not too rare, but they are considered vulnerable according to the conservation status. They may go extinct at some point in time in the wild, but probably not in captivity because they are so widely kept as pets. (source)

Crested geckos were presumed to be extinct until quite recently, so they are doing quite well compared to that haha.
