Not sure if anyone here owns a wild caught crested gecko, most of the time the crested geckos that you own are captive bred, meaning they are born in captivity. There are more captive bred crested geckos than there are wild crested geckos, so if you do know someone that owns a wild caught one, then that's pretty astonishing.

Owning a wild caught crested gecko is probably not preferable anyways, they are a lot more sensitive due to the fact that they know the difference between the wild and captivity.
