Haven't heard of anyone here owning a Gila monster as a pet, they are pretty good pets from what I've heard, in some states you have to have a permit in order for you to keep them, sometimes you don't it just depends on the state that you live in. You can purchase a Gila monster as a pet from various breeders in your area or at reptile shows.
