A crested gecko is capable of jumping around 5-6 body lengths, they are quite fragile so it's important to be careful with the handling. If a crested gecko jumps out of your hand and lands the wrong way this could be bad for them. The older they get, the more powerful their legs and the further they can jump. Just something to be aware of.
