Crested geckos stick to surfaces because they have these grippy toes calledĀ spatulae which essentially allow the crested gecko to stick to just about anything. The makeup of their toes includes multiple microfibers that latch onto whatever they are trying to climb onto. Pretty interesting features. (Source)
