Crested geckos grow gradually over time, they reach full size once they are 1-2 years old, they eat quite a lot more when they are juveniles and also shed more. Sometimes it can take up to 3 years for a crested gecko to reach their full size, it depends on their genetics as well as nutrition. (Source)
