To trim a blue tongue skink's nails, you should first wrap your skink in a towel and remove them from the enclosure, the second thing to do is sanitize your nail clippers with alcohol, then go and clip the nails off of your blue tongue skink. Be sure not to clip their entire toes off, this isn't good at all, don't get too close.
