Things that could cause your blue tongue skink to die overnight include: too high of temperatures, extended exposure to high humidity, unnoticed chronic diseases (MBD), food poisoning (snails) and blunt force injuries. It's important not to expose your blue tongue skink to any of these things if you don't want your skink to die overnight.
