Yes, blue tongue skinks are friendly, they are docile and easy to handle as well. They are pretty unlikely to bite as well, and if they do bite it doesn't really hurt that much. They don't have very sharp teeth, so you won't get any puncture wounds or anything like that. Blue tongue skinks are beginner friendly lizards, and they are good for just about any reptile keeper.
