A blue tongued skink belongs to the Reptilia class, this class includes lizards, snakes, geckos and turtles. They are unique reptiles because they don't lay eggs like your traditional reptile would, instead they give live birth which is quite unique amongst reptiles. Pretty interesting personalities as well, they are truly remarkable lizards.
