No, blue tongue skinks aren't nocturnal they are diurnal, this means that they are active during the daytime as opposed to the night time. Blue tongue skinks as a result need a pretty consistent day/night cycle to accommodate for this, during the day time is when they look for food and hunt, at night time they hide underneath logs and other various shelters/hides around them.
