Yes, tarantulas eat ants, they love to eat insects and they are part of that group, however too many ants can actually kill a tarantula because they can get outnumbered pretty easily. Ants are common infesters of tarantula enclosures, it's something to watch out for as it could get bad if there's too many of them.
