It typically takes a tarantula around 15 minutes to a full day to molt fully, the amount of times a tarantula molts depends also on the tarantula's size and age. Adult male tarantulas only molt once after they reach sexual maturity, afterwards they don't molt. It's best to let them go through the molting process naturally and not bother them when you see your tarantula molting.
