Tarantula slings are fed very small insects like pinhead crickets, small roaches, pre-killed small mealworms, and dead fruit flies. Once they get older you can feed them live insects, but when they are young slings and small it may be more continent to feed them dead, pre-killed insects just for the ease of it.

Feeding tarantula slings is pretty easy, they like to eat small, sometimes dying insects. The larger the insects the harder it is for the sling to overpower them and eat them, so it's best to feed them small insects.
