Yes, ball pythons are friendly, docile pet snakes that make excellent companions to any reptile keepers. They are very gentle and rarely bite, they'll only bite when they feel stressed out or threatened. If you take great care of your pet ball python, handle them frequently your ball python will be pretty well disciplined and docile.

Just be somewhat careful around them if they get huge, (around 6 ft long).
