Sort of, some ball pythons like being handled while other prefer not to be handled at all or touched in any sort of way. The more you handle a baby ball python the more receptive they'll be to handling once they turn into adults. Ideally, you should aim to handle your ball python no more than 1-2, sometimes 3 times per week.

Ball pythons can generally become accustomed to handling, and many enjoy it, especially if they're socialized from a young age. They often tolerate handling well and can even be calm and relaxed during it. However, individual personalities vary—some may be more shy or defensive. It’s important to handle them gently and give them time to acclimate to being held. Always watch for signs of stress, like rapid movement or trying to escape, and handle them when they’re in a calm state.
