No, spider ball pythons are not banned in the US, they are however banned in the UK, that's only at reptile expos though, you can still sell them privately in the UK. Spider ball pythons commonly have a chronic head shaking neuro effect that's based off of their genetics and how they have been bred.

The UK wants to eliminate this, and so they've passed laws to regulate mass breeding and selling at reptile expos.
