You can tell if your baby ball python is underweight by glancing at their body, if you can see their ribs sticking out from their skin, chances are you baby ball python is underweight and should be fed more. Sunken and hollow eyes, unhealthy looking skin are also some indicators that your ball python isn't doing as good as they could. 

Best case scenario is you take your ball python to the vet, and start to feed him/her more.
