A three month old ball python should eat small frozen rats or mice, commonly purchased through various Pet Stores or ordered online. The larger your ball python, the larger the size of frozen mice or rats you should provide to it. The feeder rodents should take up no more than 10-15% the size of your ball python.

Since we are talking about a three month old python, it's best to start them off with smaller thawed rodents. (Source)
