The best weight to purchase a hatchling ball python at is around 100 grams, this is a good weight because it shows that the hatchling you're purchasing has eaten at least 5 meals since they hatched. Ball python hatchlings normally weigh around 65g to 90g. The extra 10 grams is an indicator that the hatchling is healthy.
