The breeding age for ball pythons takes place at around 27 to 31 months for female ball pythons and 16 to 18 months for male ball pythons. Once a ball python reaches sexual maturity they will then be able to mate with one another to create new ball pythons. Female pythons will lay eggs regardless of if there is a male nearby or not. In rare cases, she will lay eggs and those eggs will hatch and they will essentially be clones of herself.

Hope this is informative to you! 😄(Source)
