A ball python can go for around a week without water, this isn't ideal and it shouldn't be something a pet ball python should go through. A dehydrated ball python will show these signs:

  • Wrinkled skin
  • Dry scales
  • Trouble with shedding
  • Yellow/orange urate (snake pee)
  • Loss of appetite
  • Lethargy

A ball python should have access to water at all times, providing your ball python a water dish will eliminate these symptoms completely. (Source)
