The best way to destress a ball python is to leave them alone for a while, 99% of the time they will destress on their own without you having to do anything. They can be quite moody now and then. The other 1% is usually because of an improper environment, the enclosure is too small, temperature isn't right, humidity too low are all factors that can cause your ball python to be stressed out.
