California kingsnakes eat a variety of different foods. They primarily eat things such as other snakes, small rodents, lizards, frogs, salamanders, small birds, and invertebrates. 

A healthy California kingsnake can eat a lot of food in one sitting, so it's best to feed them the correct amount of food at the right times.
