Yes, you can theoretically have a naked mole rat as a pet, however they won't be the easiest pets in the world to take care of. Naked mole rats are pretty unique mammals that do require lots of special attention and care, they are pretty different from your average pet mammal. 

I would recommend having at least some experience taking care of other pets before trying to take care of a naked mole rat. Sometimes it isn't feasible for you to own a naked mole rat, it kind of depends on your situation as well. They have pretty unique, highly specific diets and they are high maintenance. 

To any beginner pet keeper I would advise against owning a naked mole rat, if you're an expert, then go ahead.
