Yes, guinea pigs do bite, they bite somewhat hard and it feels like a tight pinch. Guinea pigs bite when they are threatened, ill, mishandled or are stressed out. Some guinea pigs are more handleable than others, it's important that you know this so that if you do get bitten by one, you aren't shocked. (Source)
