Hedgehogs hibernate at around 5 degrees Fahrenheit, this temperature makes hedgehogs inactive and it slows down their metabolisms. Captive hedgehogs shouldn't hibernate as there really is no need for them to do that, everything that they need is met, so there really is no point in hibernating.
