Yes, hedgehogs are omnivores, they eat both plants and animals, more specifically they eat insects that they find in the wild. In captivity it's best to feed hedgehogs commercially made food specifically for them, along with various fruits and vegetables. The larger the variety of foods that you feed to hedgehogs the healthier they will be. (Source)
