Your crested gecko will poop on you when they feel fearful or scared, it's best to make sure that you handle them in a way that isn't making them stressed or fearful. Perhaps you should handle your crested gecko more? Maybe limit the amount of time you handle your crested gecko at first then slowly go up from there? Doing this will build more familiarity with your crested gecko and they won't be as afraid of you.
