Crested gecko breathing hard, what's this mean?

When a crested gecko is breathing hard, this is usually a sign that your crested gecko is stressed out or fearful of something in their environment. It's a common sign that they display sometimes when you are holding them as well, that is if they aren't used to being handled at all. Increasing familiarity with your gecko is a good way to make your crested gecko to stop breathing so hard. You can do this by hand feeding your crested gecko for a while.

Hope this clarifies some things 👍
