If your crested gecko's skin is black around a deep wound, you should definitely take your crested gecko to the veterinarian as soon as possible because this sounds like an infected wound. The vet will most likely treat the wound with some antibiotic cream/medicine along with potential bandages depending on how severe the wound is.
