Gnats are annoying pests that may be inside of your crested gecko's enclosure, they are pretty much harmless to crested geckos, but they can lay eggs inside of your gecko's food, which isn't good at all for your gecko. You should do a deep clean of your enclosure to remove all gnats, then add a pest strip to the outside of your enclosure, this will catch some of the gnats before they go to enter it.
