You can separate dwarf hamsters from their mothers at around the 4 week mark, the 10 week mark is the latest you should wait until taking the dwarf hamsters from their mothers. Ideally they should be of good health when you do so, if they are looking especially weak or unhealthy you may need to leave them be, and consult a vet.
