To make a bin cage for hamsters is a very simple thing to do, first get yourself a clear plastic tote bin, then take the lid for it and cut out a large square, then apply wire to the cut out, this will make the bin have the much needed ventilation. May not be the most ideal hamster cage, but it is an option. Otherwise you can go get a premade hamster cage at PetSmart or Petco.
