Yes, MBD (metabolic bone disease) can kill bearded dragons when it's not caught early enough, MBD is easily reversable if it's caught right as it starts to cause your bearded dragon to show symptoms of it. MBD is caused by a lack of calcium, and is fixed by introducing calcium into their diet.
