A better question is which reptiles can't I own in Georgia, such reptile include: Indian rock pythons, Burmese pythons, Argentine black-and-white tegus, Nile monitors, African helmeted turtles and Chinese softshell turtles. You can't own, sell, possess, import, and transfer any of these reptiles without a permit from the Georgia DNR. Georgia is a strict state when it comes to owning exotic pets.
