A bioactive bearded dragon enclosure usually consists of natural branches and wood inside of the enclosure along with microfauna in the substrate. The best bioactive substrate for a bearded dragon enclosure would be the bio bedding desert bioactive substrate from josh's frogs. They do a pretty good job.
